The Robert Perks Room
Taking its name from the prominent Methodist layman Sir Robert Perks, the Robert Perks Room is a bright, versatile space located on Level 1.
The Robert Perks Room can hold up to 150 people in theatre style, and is especially well-suited to formal events such as meetings, seminars, and seated lunches or dinners. It may be hired on its own, or along with two adjacent syndicate rooms located on the same level.

Technology and AV
We can provide a range of technical and audio visual solutions to support your event in the Robert Perks Room.
Our standard AV package has been tailored to reflect the room’s unique design and acoustics, and includes:
- 16:9 format projection screen
- Christie 5000 lumen projector with short throw lens
- Yamaha VXS 4 speaker vocal reinforcement system
- Yamaha VXS bass speaker
- 2 wired lectern microphones
- Creston HD colour touch screen to manage equipment
You also have the option to hire an expert AV technician to provide you with additional support during your event.

Menus and catering
No matter what type of event you are planning, we can provide a host of flexible catering options to suit you. Our extensive range of menus include canapés, bowl food and hot & cold buffets.
Our on-site catering partner, Green & Fortune can also work with you to create a bespoke menu if you wish. Catering itself is normally provided in an adjacent syndicate room, for your guests’ convenience.
