Our catering philosophy
Fresh ingredients
To ensure we offer clients the best food and drink, Green & Fortune produce as much as possible in-house, including an on-site baker who created all sweet treats, as well as, beef and lamb coming from their own farm in Northumberland, giving them complete visibility from field to fork.
This commitment to in-house preparation ensures we deliver exceptional quality and fresh catering for your event. Our chefs craft dishes from scratch, maintaining complete control over ingredients, flavours and presentation.
British supplier relationships
They say you are only as good as the company you keep, which explains why we are so careful in selecting the suppliers we work with. Behind all our services is a curated network of responsible suppliers who believe in the value of sustainability just as much as we do.
From London Smoke & Cure, who champion renewable electricity and deliver via e-cargo bikes to Old Spike Coffee, an enterprise that creates employment opportunities for Londoners overcoming homelessness. Every partner we work with to provide high-quality hospitality reflects our commitment to doing business the right way in our industry.
Our ethical foundation
Central Hall Westminster is the venue of the Methodist Church, and we pride ourselves on our ethical and sustainable approach to business. Our service of alcohol is not excessive, complemented by creative mocktails. This values-driven approach ensures your food and drink experience reflects our commitment to responsible hospitality.
Sustainable hospitality
Sustainability is high on our agenda. Green & Fortune are a certified B Corp, recognising their commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Sustainability shapes their menus, from reducing food waste to prioritising seasonal ingredients and chef-led choices.
They quite literally take sustainability into their own hands as they own their own farm in Northumberland, Corneyside Farm supplies much of the beef and lamb used in the menus. All the animals are grass-fed and free to roam. Farmer Ian breeds Limousin X cows and Texel lambs and ensures that we only receive them when they are ready to come off the farm, not because the market says it’s time. The meat is then hung at Green & Fortune’s Kings Place venue and butchered by the butchery team.
Additionally, they are an accredited London Living Wage employer, lead many charitable events to raise much-needed funds, support local foodbanks and are embedded in community organisations.
