2022 Graduations Events at Central Hall Westminster
We had a particularly busy year for graduations at Central Hall Westminster in 2022, and it was so lovely to see graduations back in action with many happy smiling faces.
Throughout the year, we witnessed over 36 different ceremonies from 17 universities, including Brunel University, Arden University, The Royal College of Emergency Medicine, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, The American School in London, The Royal Veterinary College, The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London Business School to name but a few.
Over 100,000 graduates have stepped onto the stage in the Great Hall or the Lecture Hall to receive their degrees.
From this, we estimated some interesting facts and figures onto an infographic, including:
- 138,000 invitations sent to graduates, friends and family
- 100,000 + students have received their degree or qualification at CHW
- 110,000 graduation gowns and mortar boards hired
- Almost 82,000 nibbles were eaten, made by our in-house caterer, Green & Fortune
- Over 168 hours of graduation live-streamed by our tech partner, White Light
- 221,000 photographs taken
- Over 90 speeches made
- Over 18 universities hosted graduations at Central Hall Westminster
