Flexible spaces

Our versatile building offers numerous spaces to support the logistics of your graduation, with separate areas for registration and gowning, and locations for capturing photographic memories of the special day before moving on to the Ceremony itself. The Great Hall accommodates up to 1,500 graduates and guests beneath Europe’s largest self-supporting dome, with a grand stage for the academic presentations, priority seating for graduands and friends and family seating in the gallery. Celebratory drinks can be taken in the Great Hall foyers and the Lecture Hall and Library, making full use of our building.

Since 1912, we’ve hosted significant ceremonies and events—it’s what we were designed for. The Lecture Hall and Library feature triple-height ceilings and natural daylight, providing ideal conditions for examinations or smaller ceremonies. Expert technical support ensures flawless audio visual delivery throughout your graduation.

Syndicate rooms

To complement the extensive range of event space we offer at Central Hall Westminster, we have nine syndicate rooms spread throughout the building. Each one is located close to our main event spaces, and can flexibly hold between 10 to 12 people depending on your chosen room set up.
