As an event space, the George Thomas Room is ideal for meetings, seminars, and seated lunches or dinners, and can hold up to 150 people for a reception. It also has two adjacent syndicate rooms that can be used as additional breakout or catering areas if needed.
We offer a range of technical and audio-visual solutions to support your event in the George Thomas Room, provided by our in-house production partner White Light and expert IT team.
Our standard AV package has been tailored to reflect the room’s unique design and acoustics, and includes:
- 16:9 format projection screen
- Christie 5000 lumen projector with short-throw lens
- Yamaha VXS 4 speaker vocal reinforcement system
- Yamaha VXS bass speaker
- 2 wired lectern microphones
- Creston HD colour touch screen to manage equipment
You also have the option to hire an AV technician to provide you with additional support during your event. Should you have more specific technical requirements, our Audio-Visual partner, White Light, can alternatively suggest a range of bespoke solutions to meet your needs. Simply get in touch with us to know more.
Arranging catering in the George Thomas Room is simple and easy. We offer an extensive selection of menus that range from small bites to plated options – including canapés, bowl food and hot & cold buffets. Green & Fortune, our on-site catering partner, can also work with you to create a bespoke menu if you wish. Catering itself is normally provided in an adjacent syndicate room, for your guests’ convenience.
We have a vision to serve healthy, nutritious food, which is sustainably sourced with minimal impact to the environment. Wherever possible, we use quality and independently sourced British suppliers to ensure the best possible ingredients.
