The Library is a grand, adaptable space located on Level 1. It offers a maximum capacity of 500 people in reception-style – but it may also be combined with the adjoining Lecture Hall to cater for events of up to 1,000 guests.
Its notable features include impressive triple height ceilings, natural daylight, and optional black-out facilities – providing a versatile setting to host conferences, larger seminars, exhibitions, and even graduation ceremonies.
The Library is also directly accessible from the Grand Foyer, which can be used as a convenient registration area if required.

We can provide an extensive range of technical equipment to complement your event in the Library.
Our standard presentation package covers video, audio, and staging and includes:
- 10-inch 16:9 format screen
- Christie 7K projector with ultra wide angle lens system
- HDMI / VGA input from client laptop
- K-array KR2 ultra thin vocal reinforcement system
- 2 wired lectern microphones
- Perspex lectern
- A dedicated AV technician for up to 10 hours, including set up

Menus and catering
Catering in the Library is as flexible as the room itself, and we have an extensive range of menus for you to choose from. These range from seasonal standing lunch options to canape and bowl food menus, perfect for networking. All accompanied by a carefully selected drinks list. Or, if you would prefer a bespoke menu, we can also work with our on-site catering partner, Green & Fortune to create it for you.
Catering and refreshments are usually set up in the Library or in a separate breakout area, depending on your preference.
