Fictional Selves with Kyle MacLachlan – Central Hall Westminster
Thursday, 24th September 2026
8:00PM (doors from 6:30pm)
90mins (no interval)
For one night only, award-winning actor Stephen Graham takes to the stage in London with psychology lecturer Orly Klein to celebrate the publication of their book, Letters to Our Sons.
What advice do you wish you’d shared before your son’s first day at school? When did you last hug him? And what would you do if you had your time again?
Stephen and Orly are joined by friends, family and special guests to discuss their groundbreaking book, which features letters from fathers from all walks of life who have put into words the things they couldn’t say out loud to their sons. There’s a chance to ask Stephen and Orly your own questions too, exploring the complex realities of modern fatherhood.
Celebrating the highs and lows of fatherhood—its hopes, lessons and fears—this enlightening event continues the vital conversation between fathers and sons that Graham has championed since his seminal TV series Adolescence.
This event is proudly supporting MANUP? You can donate when you book your ticket and on the night.
Every donation helps provide free therapy sessions, talks, mountain trips, community events and groundbreaking research into male suicide. We never charge a man to access our services, because cost should never be a barrier to getting support. (Registered Charity Number 1195085.)
