“The Bahar Choir is a vibrant ensemble of Iranian vocalists collaborating with the talented musicians of the East-Paris Philharmonic Orchestra, whose members are predominantly French. Together, they form a unique fusion of cultures, dedicated to showcasing the richness of Iranian music, poetry, and culture. Through masterful performances of renowned Iranian melodies and innovative contemporary compositions by Arash Fouladvand, the choir and orchestra have captivated audiences around the globe.
Arash Fouladvand is the founder, composer, and conductor of the Bahar Choir. He holds a PhD from the Institute of French Petroleum and a degree in Harmony and Orchestration. Known for his unique approach, he blends traditional and modern music, creating powerful connections across cultures.
The Bahar Choir’s journey has been one of growth and artistic maturity, reaching a point where its music deserves to shine on the world stage, beyond academia and intimate venues. This project brings Iran’s rich traditional musical heritage into the spotlight, thanks to the contributions of a multinational orchestra. While this year focuses on Iranian music, future seasons will explore the musical treasures of Central Asia, ensuring a continuous celebration of diverse cultural legacies.
Many members of the East-Paris Philharmonic Orchestra are graduates of the Conservatoire International de Musique and esteemed music schools across France. Together with the Bahar Choir, they deliver performances that are not only musically exceptional but also deeply meaningful, celebrating unity, artistry, and cultural exchange.
Join us on this inspiring musical journey, where tradition meets innovation and cultures come together in harmony.”
