Central Hall Westminster is a historic Grade II* listed events venue located opposite Westminster Abbey in London. We host conferences, concerts, exhibitions, weddings, broadcasts, and community events.
What makes Central Hall Westminster unique?
Opened in 1912, Central Hall Westminster combines heritage architecture with modern event infrastructure. Our Great Hall features Europe’s largest self-supporting domed ceiling, and our venue has hosted historic figures, including Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, as well as global broadcasts and cultural events.

Standard hire includes:

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for large conferences or concerts, to ensure availability and sufficient planning time. However, we can accommodate short lead bookings. Get in contact to discuss your needs.

Yes. Our in-house catering partner, Green & Fortune, provides seasonal, sustainable menus for events ranging from meetings to gala dinners, with options for all dietary requirements.
Can I bring my own caterer?
We work primarily with our catering partner Green & Fortune. Please contact us if you have specific requirements, and we will advise on available options.
Do you provide audio visual equipment?
Yes. Our AV partner, White Light, provides full technical support, including sound, lighting, staging, and projection.
Can I bring my own AV supplier?

What support does your events team provide?
Our experienced events team supports you throughout the entire process, from initial enquiry through to event delivery, coordinating logistics and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We are located within walking distance of major Underground and rail stations and are served by multiple bus routes.

We do not have dedicated parking on-site, but there are nearby public parking facilities.
Is there loading access for suppliers?
Yes. Loading access is available via our Tothill Street entrance. Please contact our team to arrange access times.
Is the venue accessible?
Central Hall Westminster is accessible, with step-free access, lifts, and accessible toilet facilities available across all spaces. As a Grade II* listed building, some rooms are more accessible than others due to the historic layout. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements, and we will ensure a suitable and accessible space is arranged for your event.
