Together with our in-house production partner White Light, we are continually working to improve our AV facilities. Notable recent installations include a new light rigging system and a data distribution network that allows us to cater for even more of our trademark special productions.
Heritage meets modern excellence
Working with White Light’s expert team, we have significantly invested in AV technology throughout the building helping us to secure and host more ambitious events than ever before. This includes a state of the art d&b Audiotechnic PA system in the Great Hall as well as hybrid meeting technology in our syndicate rooms and integrated AV systems in our most popular event spaces.
Our production partner
Production requirements for all our events are handled by our in house partner White Light. With over 50 years experience supplying the creative industries and owners of on of the largest equipment stocks in Europe, they are ideally placed to ensure that Central Hall Westminster continues to be one of London’s most technically advanced venues.

White Light’s team of production professionals sits in house at the venue, and works seamlessly with our events and catering teams to provide expert support for all your productions needs.

Versatile event spaces
There are 25 meeting and events spaces over four floors at Central Hall Westminster, ranging from the Great Hall, which features Europe’s largest domed roof, to more intimate meeting rooms, including George Thomas and our syndicate rooms. We host a diverse range of events and specialise in prestigious and bespoke productions.
Host up to 2,000 guests
As Central London’s largest events venue, we have the ability to cater for special events ranging from 1000 to 2,000+ people. We also have three large event spaces that cater for events of 250 to 500 people: the Aldersgate Room, Lecture Hall, and Library. We have five meeting spaces in total, catering for 60 people or less, each offering leading AV equipment.
The Great Hall
We have fully modernised the Great Hall to complement its period beauty with state-of-the-art technical facilities. White Light, our award-winning audio-visual partner, can also offer bespoke technical solutions to support your event.
The Great Hall’s permanent features include natural light and blackout facilities, a purpose-designed PA system, a magnificent 4731-pipe organ, and an adaptable stage that extends out up to 60ft. A choir of up to 198 voices can also occupy the seating around the organ if needed.
Bespoke technical solutions
For the Great Hall, our standard package includes:
- A 20′ edgeless floating screen, fed by a 15,000 lumen HD Christie projector – providing superb viewing angles for presentations and camera relays.
- Extensive audio, video and lighting distribution networks
- Eight permanent 800kg SWL hoists – for extensive rigging capabilities
- A highly flexible in-house lighting rig, combining LED generic fixtures and an array of moving head profiles and LED washes.
