A record number of event professionals and exhibitors gathered at the historic Central Hall Westminster on Wednesday 11th July for London’s hotly anticipated Summer BNC Event Show.

The 13th summer BNC Event Show was held at the central London venue for the second time following a successful 2017, with exhibitors including hotels, venues, catering companies, production companies, entertainment specialists, technology experts, furniture suppliers and airlines.

Most of the action took place in the historic venue’s Lecture Hall and Library including a full education seminar programme featuring keynote speakers and experts from the meetings and events industry. These included Eventbrite and Glisser who talked about utilising social media to create sell-out events and building hybrid events for both real-life and virtual guests. As the show’s name suggests, there was plenty of opportunity for networking among the senior level corporate and agency managers attending.

Complimentary food and drink was provided throughout the day including a number of cooling options for breakfast, elevenses, lunch and afternoon.

One of the main highlights of the day was the BNC Event Show’s famed Grand Prize Draw offering 38 luxury prizes including a three-night stay in Tenerife at the Hotel Botanico and The Oriental Spa Gardens; two-night stays in Hong Kong with Regal Hotels International; cookery courses at Chewton Glen; tickets for Sandown Racecourse courtesy of Jockey Club Venues; VIP tickets to Chestertons Polo in the Park; and tickets to see the band, Plan B in concert.

In addition, guests taking a tour of Central Hall were treated to an AV demonstration in the Great Hall by the venue’s production partner, White Light. Visitors to the Great Hall were entered into a prize draw to win tickets to Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, courtesy of White Light.
