Central Hall completes first phase of major AV overhaul with WL
Central Hall Westminster has completed phase one of a major AV overhaul at the venue thanks to its partnership with White Light (WL), following the firm’s appointment as Central Hall’s production service partner last July. For the last 12 months, WL has invested in a number of technical installations at the venue designed to offer event organisers multi-room device connectivity and a fluent approach to information sharing across the venue’s event spaces.
Central Hall’s 25 meetings and events spaces throughout the venue now benefit from state-of-the-art equipment from some of the world’s largest AV manufacturers, including Crestron, Christie and Yamaha:
- Yamaha’s largest in-house installation in Western Europe is now in situ at Central Hall Westminster’s Great Hall, which features the very latest QL digital mixer and R-series audio interfaces. The venue’s smaller breakout rooms are all equipped with state-of-the-art Yamaha MTX processors and speakers.
- Crestron’s DigitalMedia™ offers control over audio, visual and presentation devices which work together to integrate digital and analogue AV signals together with streaming on one platform, simplifying the control process for event organisers.
- Christie’s projection allows video content to be fully brought to life with high resolution visuals and rich display.
Paul Southern, Central Hall Westminster’s Managing Director, comments: “We are delighted with what WL has brought to the venue with this first phase installation. We have already seen a whole host of events draw on this technology and the immediate impact it has had.”
Richard Wilson, WL’s Director, adds: “When we began our role at Central Hall, our main aim was to provide the venue with the best technical solutions. Working closely with the venue to decide what would be most suited to their clients’ needs, we have invested specifically in a range of technology which not only provides the best production support but is also extremely versatile, meaning it can be used on almost any type of event.”
WL continues with the installation at Central Hall following this initial phase, ensuring that the spaces are constantly upgraded and that the very latest technology is available for event organisers.
The new state-of-the-art equipment will be showcased to clients and media at an exclusive fun and immersive live production show in September 2016 at Central Hall. For more information and to register interest in attending, visit www.c-h-w.com/show.
