@CentralHall Welcome! Events industry margins are usually very healthy so it's heartening to see a London venue paying staff fairly.

Central Hall Westminster hosts political party leaders for live TV debate

Central Hall Westminster last night hosted a live televised debate featuring the leaders of opposition political parties ahead of May’s UK General Election.

200 attendees gathered in Central Hall’s Great Hall to witness Ed Miliband, Leanne Wood, Natalie Bennett, Nicola Sturgeon and Nigel Farage debate key political issues. The event was also broadcast live on BBC One.

Paul Southern, Managing Director at Central Hall, comments: “Central Hall has a long history of hosting events of national and international significance, from the first meeting of the United Nations in 1946, to this important live political debate. The venue is a fitting setting for such important conversations and we look forward to hosting more debates in the future.”
