Central Hall Westminster to welcome UK - China Trade and Economic Forum
Central Hall Westminster will this week host the 2014 UK - China Trade and Economic Forum, with an expected 500 delegates attending the central London venue to discuss how British companies can succeed in China.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday 17th June, was secured though the China-Britain Business Council by Central Hall following its attendance at the China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market event in Beijing earlier this year. The event will be attended by senior business delegates from the UK and China.
Paul Southern, Managing Director at Central Hall Westminster, comments: “The Chinese market has always been very important to us at Central Hall. London is a location that many Chinese companies aspire to visit and yet some believe that it is simply too expensive. We have endeavoured to dispel this myth and are delighted to be hosting an event that looks to open up the dialogue between UK and Chinese businesses.”
In 2013 Central Hall Westminster became the first conference centre to win the Chinese Tourist Welcome Award for Marketing following an extensive marketing campaign led by Marketing Manager Maria Schuett. The venue also developed a Mandarin version of its mobile website in response to increased interest from Chinese organisations.
