Central Hall Westminster supports the British Red Cross

Central Hall Westminster, central London’s largest Conference and Events Centre, has donated over 50 business suits and dresses to its charity of the year, the British Red Cross.

The British Red Cross is selling donations in their charity shops to fund their work. The charitable organisation helps people in crisis from all walks of life both in the UK and across the world.

Central Hall Westminster’s employees took part in an in-office fundraising activity by collecting business suits and dresses, to show their support. The collection van arrived this morning en route to various other business addresses in the London region. Senior Sales Manager Anne Voelkert organised the donations, whereby Marketing Manager Maria Schuett sent the delivery off with best wishes for 2013 from Central Hall Westminster.

Paul Southern, Managing Director at Central Hall Westminster said: ’ Central Hall is a social enterprise and 100% of business profit goes to support a range of charitable organisations and philanthropic initiatives amongst others the St. Vincent’s Family Project and the Methodist Church of Westminster. The donations for the British Red Cross are a welcomed addition to our yearly CRS programme. Thanks to all the staff who participated in ‘raiding their wardrobes’ and very special thanks to Anne Voelkert, who managed the internal collection, storage and delivery.’
