Broadcasting & TV Production Venue London

It’s likely you’ve seen Central Hall Westminster on your own screen before. Over the years we’ve hosted several live broadcasts and TV productions with everyone from FIFA to the BBC. Our Westminster venue offers spaces expansive enough for 2,400 people, unrivalled technical capabilities and an exceptionally elegant backdrop for any televised event.

It can be a challenge to find a location with the right facilities for live TV broadcasts so we’re proud to be able to facilitate such unique events at Central Hall Westminster. Our flagship Great Hall has been the setting for several large media productions. Its combination of historic beauty and impressive range of AV is what makes us one of the most coveted live broadcast venues in London.

From BBC One’s New Year’s Eve Concert to Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser to FIFA’s Interactive Word Cup Final, we’ve seen dozens of live TV productions over the years. Our team has considerable experience hosting high-profile media and entertainment events, and have built strong industry links as a result.

Live TV broadcast facilities

Our Great Hall receives regular investment to ensure its AV facilities remains state-of-the-art for live broadcasts and TV productions, together with our onsite production partner White Light.

A fitted lighting rigging system and custom-built data network are two of the most recent additions, allowing us to better support special media productions and public broadcasts. We offer further equipment available to add on, such as a top-spec EM Acoustics PA system.

The Great Hall includes permanent installations too, such as an original 4731-pipe Arthur Hill and Son organ and a large adaptable stage. The platform room behind the stage makes an ideal dressing room for presenters, guests or performers, as well as handy additional backstage space for production staff.

Past media productions

Thanks to our excellent industry links, the Great Hall has been used as a venue for several prominent media and TV productions, including:
