A premier awards venue

With its prestigious location, beautiful architecture, and illustrious history, Central Hall Westminster is a fitting venue for hosting awards ceremonies.

The breathtaking Great Hall offers a suitably grand environment for recognising and rewarding notable achievements, such as during the 2012 Laureus World Sports Awards.

The Great Hall can hold up to 2,400 attendees under its remarkable domed ceiling, and incorporates a superbly designed stage that creates a surprisingly intimate connection with award winners. A sweeping Grand Staircase also leads into the Great Hall from our front entrance, adding a further sense of ceremony and grandeur to proceedings.

Dedicated audio visual

We have made significant improvements to the Great Hall together with our in-house audio visual partner, White Light to ensure that it can fully support any awards ceremony requirements, without detracting from its distinctive architecture.

Its permanent features include an original 4731-pipe Arthur Hill and Son organ, and an adaptable stage. The platform room behind the stage also makes an ideal area for presenters and winners to prepare themselves.

Add on features include; a new light rigging system to allow us to provide customised lighting for added impact and a state-of-the-art EM Acoustics PA  system.

An awards registration desk can also be set up in the Great Hall’s grand foyers, which lead on from our Grand Staircase.
