35th World Nuclear Association annual Symposium

15-17 September 2010
Reinvigorated by concerns over climate change and energy security, the nuclear power agenda has expanded greatly in recent years. This success is bringing its own challenges: with more than 50 reactors under construction worldwide, and many more planned to come online by 2020, demand for the human and physical resources integral to the successful construction and operation of new nuclear power plants will continue to increase rapidly. The WNA’s annual Symposium will examine how the industry can overcome the challenges it faces and maintain momentum for the future, with a programme theme of “The nuclear resurgence: fulfilling our potential”.
The WNA Symposium is the nuclear industry’s premier event - an annual conference attended by over 700 leaders and specialists from more than 30 countries. The Symposium brings together the nuclear industry and its major stakeholders to discuss the practicalities of a new nuclear generation. More information can be found here: http://www.wna-symposium.org/
